Billing & Credits Policy

1. Overview

EkaVox operates on a credit-based billing model. EkaVox Credits ("Credits") are the primary unit of value on the platform. Credits are used to access AI-powered features including app generation, screen refinement, code export, and build packaging.

This policy explains how Credits are obtained, consumed, and managed. By using EkaVox, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy, which forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. How Credits Are Obtained

2.1 Welcome Credits

New users receive 25 welcome Credits upon account creation. Welcome Credits are granted once per account and are non-transferable. They are intended to allow new users to experience the platform before making a purchase.

2.2 Credit Pack Purchases

Credits can be purchased in predefined packs through the EkaVox platform. Available packs and pricing are displayed on the Pricing page and within the AI Studio. Purchases are processed through Razorpay, our payment partner. All prices are displayed in USD with approximate INR equivalents. The final billing amount in your local currency is confirmed at checkout.

2.3 Bonus Credits

Certain credit packs include bonus Credits as indicated at the time of purchase. Bonus Credits are subject to the same terms as purchased Credits. EkaVox may also offer promotional Credits through referral programs, campaigns, or at its discretion. Promotional Credits may have different terms as specified at the time of grant.

2.4 Referral Credits

Users who refer others to EkaVox may receive referral Credits when the referred user makes their first purchase. Referral Credit amounts and terms are specified in the referral program terms and may change at any time.

3. How Credits Are Consumed

Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered features on the platform. The cost of each action in Credits is displayed before the action is performed, and a detailed burn table is available on the Pricing page and in your Billing settings.

Credit costs are approximate and may vary based on the complexity of the request. EkaVox reserves the right to adjust credit costs for specific actions. Changes to credit costs apply to future actions only and do not affect Credits already in your wallet.

4. Credit Wallet

Each organization on EkaVox has a single Credit wallet. All Credits from purchases, bonuses, and referrals are pooled in this wallet. Credits are consumed from this wallet when any member of the organization performs a billable action.

Your Credit balance, transaction history, and consumption details are available in the Billing section of your account settings.

5. Credit Expiration

Purchased Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active and in good standing. If your account is suspended or terminated for any reason, unused Credits may be forfeited as described in our Terms of Service.

Welcome Credits and promotional Credits may have expiration terms as specified at the time of grant.

6. Non-Transferability

Credits are non-transferable. They cannot be transferred between accounts, organizations, or users. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash, gift cards, or any other form of value outside the EkaVox platform.

7. Pricing Changes

EkaVox may adjust credit pack pricing, bonus structures, and per-action credit costs at any time. Price changes apply to future purchases and future actions only. Credits already in your wallet retain their full value regardless of pricing changes.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant pricing changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.

8. Refunds

Credit purchase refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary:

• Unused credit packs may be refunded within 7 calendar days of purchase.
• Once any Credits from a purchase have been consumed, the purchase is non-refundable.
• Welcome Credits and promotional Credits are not eligible for refund.
• Refunds are processed via Razorpay to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

9. Taxes

Prices displayed on EkaVox may or may not include applicable taxes depending on your jurisdiction. Any applicable GST, VAT, or sales tax will be calculated and displayed at checkout before payment. Tax details are included on your invoice.

For users in India, GST will be applied as required under the Goods and Services Tax Act. Our GST details are included on all invoices.

10. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. EkaVox does not store your payment card details. Supported payment methods include UPI, debit cards, credit cards, net banking, and digital wallets, subject to availability in your region.

For currency conversion, the exchange rate is determined by Razorpay at the time of payment. EkaVox displays approximate INR equivalents for reference, but the final amount charged is determined by Razorpay and your payment provider.

11. Disputes

If you believe a credit deduction was made in error, please contact us at billing@ekavox.app within 30 days of the transaction. We will review the ledger entry and, if the deduction was made in error, restore the Credits to your wallet.
